These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the HiTech Consultancy website and any services provided by HiTech Consultancy ("HiTech", "we", "us" or "our"). By browsing this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the website or engage our services.
Use of this website
This website is provided for the purpose of learning about HiTech's services and getting in touch with us. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and not to attempt to disrupt its operation, access it through automated means beyond normal search-engine indexing, or misrepresent your identity when contacting us.
Services & engagements
HiTech provides Odoo ERP consulting and implementation, web development and automation, mobile app development, remote staffing, and business telecom & connectivity services. Specific scope, deliverables, timeline and pricing for any engagement are set out in a proposal, quote or statement of work agreed with you before work begins — these Terms apply alongside, and don't replace, the terms of that agreement. Where the two conflict on a specific point, the signed proposal or statement of work governs.
Speed tiers, coverage, pricing and carrier availability for telecom services are address- and provider-dependent, and are confirmed with you at quote stage rather than guaranteed by anything published on this website.
Intellectual property
The content on this website — including text, graphics, logos and the HiTech Consultancy brand — is owned by HiTech or used under licence, and may not be copied or reused without permission. For client engagements, ownership of custom-built deliverables (code, configurations, designs) is addressed in the applicable proposal or statement of work; unless otherwise agreed in writing, HiTech retains rights to its own pre-existing tools, frameworks and methodologies used to deliver the work.
Third-party links & partners
This site links to third-party products and partners we work with directly — including telecom and connectivity partners such as Rogers Business, RingCentral, Vonage, Comcast Business, Spectrum Business, Allstream, ACC Business, PhoneBox and OpenPhone. We aren't responsible for the content, terms, or practices of third-party sites, and linking to them doesn't constitute an endorsement of everything on them. Any purchase or subscription you make through a linked third-party service is governed by that provider's own terms.
Payment & billing
Payment terms — including pricing, invoicing schedule, and accepted methods — are set out in your proposal or statement of work. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are due within the timeframe stated on the invoice, and prices are quoted before applicable taxes.
Warranties & disclaimers
We deliver our services with reasonable skill and care, consistent with industry practice. Beyond what's expressly stated in a signed proposal or statement of work, this website and its contents are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiTech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or our services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Liability arising from a specific service engagement, where applicable, is addressed in that engagement's agreement.
Confidentiality
Where an engagement gives us access to your business systems, data or non-public information, we treat that information as confidential and use it only to deliver the agreed services, consistent with our Privacy Policy and any confidentiality terms in your proposal or statement of work.
Termination
Either party may end an active engagement in accordance with the termination terms set out in the relevant proposal or statement of work. We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to this website for anyone who misuses it or violates these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
